The Zero Energy Building
Introduction
The shelter is one of the basic needs of humans. We get many benefits from home, but can we live in that house.
When do we understand that the electricity we are using is made from fossil fuels, which are limited and cause a lot of pollution in the process? Can we live in a house, thatBlocks nature's sources or doesn't have good ventilation? Can we live in that house, whose electricity cost is increasing day by day?
Electricity is the measure requirement of the present world and with the increase of population and development, India Self-required 1598 TWH energy every year and majorly (64%) .It comes from a coal power plant. According to currentstats, the residential sector is 24.01%, Industrial sector 42.69%,agriculture sector 17.67%, commercial sector 8.04% and traction sector 1.52% consumes electricity from total percentage. From this, we got known that the building sector of India almost consumes 35% of total energy consumption with a growth rate of 8%. With this highly increasing consumption rate, moving towards renewable energies are necessary now and it will become easier with net-zero energy buildings.
What is ZNE?
Zero energy buildings (ZEB) are also known as Zero net energy (ZNE) buildings in which by using current technologies like a heat pump, high-efficiency windowsi nsulation, solar panel, photovoltaic cell, etc. we generate renewable electric energy is equal to the total energy consumed by building. These types of the building contribute very less in greenhouse gas emission during operation than regular buildings. ZNE buildings also cut the costs of operation by selling extra renewable energy produced during operational period, and is also very energy efficient by saving 50% and 70% more energy than regular buildings also these buildings are more reliable, comfortable, sustainable than normal
buildings.

Solar systems
Wind turbine systems
Biomass systems
Geothermal systems
Nuclear power
Final Thoughts
ZNE building is more eco-friendly and it has very less dependence on governing bodies for resources and energy & also helping society by creating renewable energy and providing it to governing bodies also.Net-zero energy building produces its electricity, from this we can save a huge amount of electricity bill. It will be reduced the use of fossil fuel in the future. From this, we can reduce the emission of harmful gases which will affect our environment. With the advancement in renewable technology, Net zero Energy Buildings are the future. Many governments have framed Zero Energy building laws. Few governments are also providing subsidies to individuals and organizations for creating Zero Energy Buildings. But the goal of zero energy buildings would not be fulfilled until all the people don't understand their responsibility and contribute to reduce energy consumption.
